Earth sent people to Mars. Earth bossed people from Mars around. Mars people didn't like. Earth people and Mars people fought. Apparently Mars people won their independence. Now there's an uneasy peace and a group of Mars teenagers that spent five years on Earth to bring the two groups together. The first impression is pretty short and doesn't seem to get much into the meat of the story. This makes it hard to get a feel for the rest of the book, as it only covers the end of a journey from Earth to Mars.
