The cover isn't to my taste at all - in fact I think it's rather ugly. It would most likely keep me from picking this book up. The inside very quickly proved that would have been a good decision. The text is convoluted and pretentious and what sounded in the blurb to be an interesting story is wrecked by heavy-handed metaphor. No thank you.
