The premise of this book was interesting, however the writing felt very disjointed. Very basic sentences and sentence structure and then the next sentence contained advanced words, almost like someone was thumbing through a thesaurus to jazz it up. I wonder if this is due to the book being translated, or maybe if that's just the writing style of the author and her culture. Either way, this book did not land with me and I do find myself enjoying Sci-Fi novels once in awhile.
