I knew nothing about the genocide in Cambodia.Wow! My first thoughts were no wonder people in other countries fear the US their governments have convinced them to be I was glad to hear that Mae Bunseng Taing never believed the lies he was told.I had to read fluff books in between reading this book which I honestly figured I would have to I'm the kinda person who likes true crime and memoirs like this but then I need something to help me sleep at night when people start being killed,things happen.I knew that to get to a happy ending we would have to go through the terrible but I was still going don't believe them get away.I was glad he was able to tell his story with his son helping I didn't know it was a documentary or a movie too til after I started reading the book.I'm glad I won the book on BookishFirst I probably wouldn't have seen or heard about it,paid really any attention might have put in my to be read list.Thank you...
