I’m not someone who normally gravitates towards memoirs or historical stories but the cover of this book drew me in. After reading the introduction in which the author compares his father’s story to a quote by Eli Wiesel - a story that needs to be told - I was hooked. Every page I read was so interesting and a glimpse into a culture, time and way of life I have not learned about. I can’t wait to read the book in full when it is released and learn about the author’s father’s full experience. Fantastic writing!
