I was interested in this book the moment I read "Cambodian genocide." The premise sounded interesting as I like learning about history, especially since I have never heard of this historical event. I like the beginning of the story but found myself skipping over paragraphs for seemingly no reason. There seemed to be a lot of fluff in the beginning that I didn't need. I would be willing to give it a full shot!
