An interesting take to a biographic approach

I was initially drawn to this book by the cover art - I thought it was visually appealing and anything that states that it is a "true story" always grabs my attention. Beyond the cover, I was immediately drawn to the style of writing of this biographical book as it is the story of survival, from a father's point of view, shared with that of his son. What an incredible way to get to tell your story to the masses. I can't wait to read the rest!
