I was sucked in literally immediately. The darkness of witchcraft had me perked from the beginning. Detective Natalie is intriguing from the start. Being a detective trying to figure out nine cold cases including her sister gets all the more complicated when another murder occurs that hits close to home. After this occurrence, things never get easier to understand or to figure out. The book had me turning pages at a faster rate than my eyes could go. Each character is well written with enough information to get personally invested into their lives. Her setting of Burning Lake is also most intriguing and had me looking up Salem destinations before I was even 10% in. I highly recommend the book and am so glad I got a chance to review it!
