Trace of Evil was definitely a book that kept me on my toes. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the main character and how she was desperately wanting to solve her sisters unknown murder but at the same time knowing she had a job to uphold and uncover the truth involving another case. I always find these types of books fascinating because they truly do take you for a rollercoaster ride and multiple story lines so to say are unraveling. You absolutely have no clue what to expect from one turn to the next. I also thought it interesting that one of her first suspects literally fell into a cone right after the murder took place. Was this all coincidental, hmmmm, I think not. Needless to say,
I would definitely recommend trace of evil to any one who is a fan of crime and unsolved mysteries. It is a very gripping tale that leaves you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
