I was really excited for this one after the sneak peak as I normally am not one to gravitate towards detective reads. I was really invested in the story though and I am glad I gave this one a chance.
The story itself was really good. There were twists and turns along the way. There was some pacing issues at times though. There were times I was really into the story and others were I was ready for it to be over. I also was not a huge fan of the ending. I would check out more from this author though.
Overall, this one was better than I was expecting.
