An engrossing mystery thriller that will keep you guessing until the last pages!
This book grabbed my attention from the first few pages. The author has a very descriptive writing style without seeming like she is trying too hard. I can see, hear, and feel what she is writing about. It isn't too wordy though, just very vivid, which I love. When I read a mystery thriller, I try to guess throughout the book "who did it." In some books, I figure it out before I read the entire book. I just have to say that in Traces of Evil, I didn't figure it out. The twists caught me, I never suspected the true culprit(s). I really felt for Natalie, the main character. And I felt like I knew her father as his words replayed in her head throughout the book. I would recommend this book highly to anyone who loves a thriller, and I look forward to reading more from this author!
