Trace of Evil had an interesting start, but the First Look was just getting to the story, when it ended. A rookie police officer, a murdered sister and a newly murdered police officer’s wife sets the stage for an engaging read. But, there were also references to covens and Wiccan and I couldn’t decide whether that would detract from the story or enhance it if it turned out to play more of a significant role.
