My first impression of this book is that someone is out to murder relatives of the police. The father of the sisters is a cop. The dead woman found was the wife of a cop. Now, Nikki's life may be in danger. I'll bet the missing nine were also related in some way to the police. Perhaps the one in jail either did not do it, or one of his friends or relatives is now seeking revenge.
