I was immediately drawn to this book's cover and needed to know what hidden thrills and mysteries it held within. I love that the main character is so invested in not only the crimes she is working to solve, but also the crime in her past that personally affected her deeply. I also love the family connection between her career path and her father's. It adds an interesting element to the main character's personality and shares a hint of her background that serves to draw my interest even more. I think this book will be the kind of read that keeps me reading "just one more page" late into the night because I won't be able to put it down and just have to know what happens next. A definite must-read!
