The cover draws me in because I see a female character who appears to be searching. I enjoy stories with a strong female lead and a female cop fits the bill! Her past sounds heartbreaking but I see a character trying to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself. The story has a good mystery and I can tell it will keep the reader guessing!
