In Trace of Evil, a character named Natalie (who is a cop) has a case with missing people in her town. The town has an interesting history -- there were three girls accused of witchcraft back in the day -- and witchcraft still seems to be a thing here to this day. Natalie also has an interesting history. Her sister died twenty years ago.
