Sometimes all it takes is a single choice of word for me to drop a book. Apparently some people use "deathiversary" to refer to the anniversary of a person's death, but it sounds pretty childish/dumb to me. It especially doesn't suit the tone that this book is going for and doesn't inspire much confidence in how the rest will go, so I'm giving this one a pass.
