To The Waters and The Wild is a historical-fantasy novel with a tale of Ireland and the brave towns who defend their land against the mighty Roman Empire. It shows the towns history of spirits, healers, and religion beliefs. It involves a loves story with some Irish history.
The story was a little hard to get into at the beginning, but I continued to read the characters came to life and the story line started to build and then I could not put the book down! The description of the battles, the love stories, and the lives felt so real!
