I like venturing out and trying new stories and places- the fact that this book is based in a place rarely featured makes me very excited to see where this goes. I’ve already latched onto Keelin and the mysteries that were briefly teased. While this was shorter than most samples, I have a feeling that if the author continues making strong characterizations and a compelling mystery that it’ll be a great, fun read. My only complaint was how Keelin’s thoughts felt awkward in how they were written but that is mostly a personal preference.
