After reading the first look I had no idea where this story was going. it starts off with a dream prologue followed by her waking up from that dream in chapter one. Now I see why starting a book this way is not recommended. I also thought that while the details provided were rich, there was too much descriptive writing and it was too heavy on backstory, much of which could have been peppered in later.
