While the plot summary leads the reader to expect an action-packed zinger with a feminist twist, the first 11 pages were slow indeed. Not sure I’d be in this one for the long haul if the first several pages aren’t grabbing me, but I would be willing to give the book a little longer to see if the good stuff finally gets going.
