This First Look was pretty short and we only got a brief peek at a few of the characters, so a lot of what I'm going on is from the summary, but I'll give it a shot. It looks like this story is going to feature some myths and magic and there is certainly foreshadowing of battles and potentially some romance, so it looks like the story is going to have a little bit of everything for everyone. We spend most of the First Look with Keelin, who is living in a village called Eire and appears to be studying magic under the guidance of a priestess named Nuala. The storytelling is very descriptive thus far and the world building includes gorgeous imagery. The cover is very appealing and I think this book is likely to draw casual browsers in, but there's not enough there to provide a definitive opinion on how the writing is going to play with readers.
