With an interesting premise and good atmospheric writing, "To the Waters and the Wild" can be a novel many readers will enjoy. However, this varies per person (and one's interests). Additionally, I don't think I'm part of the targeted demographic for this book so while there is something worth liking and reading for in this novel, I don't think it's for me.
