The sound of this novel and the writing were enchanting, but there wasn't enough in the first chapter that really gave me a sense of plot. It was a nice peek into Keelin and the world she lives in, but beyond that I'm not really sure about it. There was just the slightest hint at mystery, but not enough to really make me want to continue. I expect it would get better once the story really starts.
