I am the mother of three daughters and I have a passion for strong female characters. I truly believe that woman are fierce and warriors. So imagine my surprise when this book, set in on elf my favorite countries comes up as an option for Bookish First. I love the concept, I love the wee lass that has powers, I love a good fight, and I see an interesting and challenging read that has been well-written. It is obvious that this is going to be a good book and one I will truly enjoy. Ireland, (or Eire) is a country of lush landscapes, lush people, and great history. This one will be a winner.
