I love the first impression of To the Waters and the Wild. The book starts out with a young girl who dreams of flying, and dreams of it all the time. The book takes place in Ancient Erie and the young girl Kellan, a chieftain's daughter, is wondering if her life will always be the same.
This place treats women and men as equals, and there are a lot of scholars as well as brave warriors. The descriptions of the place is very well written and I can't wait to read this book!
