Felt like Flying
"Beautiful and familiar, the
dream drew her in, delighting her senses, only to abruptly end
before she reached the cliff ’s edge. "
This quote from the prologue of To the Waters and the Wild ultimately describes what it felt like to read it. I flew through this short preview, the writing was so easy to read and each sentence flowed into the next. I enjoyed the effortless description the author uses, easily allowing me to see the gorgeous Irish hill or the cool sky she's flying in. I'm hooked, and I most definitely want to read the rest of this book.
