Looking a the cover alone, before I even read one word of the description of this novel, my mind was already screaming "IRELAND IRELAND". After reading synopsis of the book and author's biography, I see that it looks like it's set in ancient Ireland and was inspired by Celtic folklore. however, the clothing on the cover appears to be more closer to our time (around 17th or 18th century). i might be looking too much into it, though.
