A sixteen year old girl with the gifts of healing and telepathy, Keelan is studying under the tutelage of Nuala the village healer. Keeping her gifts a secret, Keelan roams her homelands freely gathering the herbs and plants she needs for her studies and chats up the young farmers and warriors of her clan.
It's been a long time since the clans have battled each other and life has been calm for her family and clansmen. But terrible news is coming from afar and her Uncle Liam is bringing it to the clan himself. What will this mean for the clans and for Keelan herself?
