This book is a sequel to The Silent Corner, which I thought I might need to read prior to reading this, but no worries. If you have not yet read The Silent Corner you can still read The Whispering Room. This is the story of a schoolteacher that takes her own life and the secret journal that she keeps. It tells a story, but does it really? Jane Hawk, A Jane Hawk Novel, knows that all is not as it seems and is determined to figure out what or who is causing all of these upstanding citizens to seemingly take their own lives. She is working to clear her husbands name as well as the future of her own family which includes a 5 year old son that is in hiding. She will not stop until she finds the truth.
