I haven’t read the first book in this series, Silent Corner but I really enjoyed this one. I’ve heard that people enjoyed this far more when they did read the first book first but I thought it was fine as a stand alone. I do have to go back and read the first book now that I know the series is good!
The Whispering Room was trilling and exciting. This book was exhilarating right from the first page and it didn’t let up through the entire book. I was not able to put the book down once I started.
Jane Hawk is such an intriguing and strong character and I really enjoy the way she is able to solve problems. I am new to Dean Koontz books but I am fast becoming a big fan of his books. I really like the way he writes his characters. They are well defined and complex.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to going back to the first book, and then springing forward to the new book when it is released next year.
