Intreguing plot and interesting character
I haven't read the first book or two in this series, but I hadn't realized it wasn't the first book until after I started reading it.
The main character is really interesting and is someone I'd like to read and learn more about. She is intense and driven and will do anything for what she believes in and her friends and family.
I was really intrigued by the back and forth nature of the storytelling, with the present day character being so much different than the one in the flashbacks, if you want to call them that. I'm excited to see how things turn out for her going forward and what the author has in store for her.
The writing is also really good and I've enjoyed other books the author has written in the past. I don't think this book will disappoint either.
