I am a big fan of Dean Koontz and this book seems like it would be even more evidence to support my opinion. As always, Koontz's style is intelligent, detailed and engaging. While his plot situations aren't always " normal", his characters are well developed and generally relatable.
I am very curious to learn more about Cora's dream and her journal, especially since she doesn't seem to be aware of what she has written.
The concept of a large shadow organization seeking to change the world through nanotechnology is not far-fetched but that same group murdering seemingly high caliber person's is certainly mysterious. Selective population control would generally want to target the less productive or the criminal members of society, not the " top layer." It's counterintuitive.
Why did Jane Hawk kill her best friend and mentor? Why did her husband die? How is she keeping her son safe? So many questions and I want answers.
