This is the second Jane Hawk novel that reminded me of how hard she is working to fight what happened to her husband. Jane wants the world to be aware of what is happening to people who "commit" suicide. It is why she goes to a journalist who she hopes will write about it. Jane wants to stop the nanotechnology suicides but will the journalist believe her? Meanwhile a teacher is having "wonderful" dreams of being able to walk through fire and not get hurt. When she wakes up one morning she knows that there will be a man in her kitchen. He will speak to her. She knows what she must do the next day. What is it? There is suspense and it is chilling. It gripped me from the first sentence I read of this novel.
