This was a fun excerpt to read and I was reminded my Dean Koontz is so popular. The alternating stories of Jane, Cora and Lawrence captivated me. I found Cora's story especially intriguing and I can't wait to find out what happens. What do a middle-aged woman who is possibly losing her mind, a rogue FBI agent and a widower have in common? I can't wait to read more!
