Having much enjoyed The Silent Corner, I've been looking forward to this sequel. I admired the new character of Jane Hawk, a kick-ass female FBI agent, who doesn't believe her husband would ever commit suicide. Looking into it she discovered there were several more recent suicides than normal. Digging even further she discovers a sinister reason for it and took us on quite a roller-coaster ride in her quest for answers, but leaving us satisfied with the conclusion of Book 1.

Having the opportunity to take a peek at the first few chapters of this Book 2, it already has me hooked. I also loved the cover in red with only half of her face showing in front. Recommended to mystery thriller fans, even sci-fi-fi fans will enjoy. Thanks to Bookish for giving me a glimpse.
