Strong start
Oh Koontz. On one hand, I appreciate his books as quick reads in between heavier ones. On the other hand, the casual brand-name dropping and awkward explanation of terms drives me nuts. I do count on him for a good twist now and then, and this book is building itself to have one. Despite not liking to read out of order in a series, I’d consider giving this one a try. The premise is unique enough to pique my interest.
