Scary book that continues the impossible quest of Jane Hawk against insurmountable power

THE WHISPERING ROOM is the sequel to THE SILENT CORNER and continues the tale of rogue FBI agent Jane Hawk versus powers that are hard to understand, much less conquer. Some evil men have developed nanotechnology to control the minds of people, and Jane is on a quest to destroy their plan before they destroy the world as we know it. In the first look at the book, we see a sixth grade school teacher who keeps dreaming of fire and writing in a journal. As the first look ends, we see Cora dressed in white and ready for some kind of mission. Meanwhile, Jane has gone to visit Lawrence Hannafin, a journalist whom she hopes to convince to break the story about mind control. What a great beginning to a novel that just draws you in because you suspect that what is portrayed could actually happen one day!
