I have loved Dean Koontz almost as long as I have loved Stephen King (although not quite). Even though I find his older stuff to hold my interest more, I really did enjoy this preview and am now convinced I need to locate the first in this series so I can read it and be prepared for this one. I'm super curious about the man in Cora's kitchen and need to know more about him.
