I haven't read the first book in this series, but this tense and off putting excerpt (especially the first chapter) makes me want to go back and read that too! It is so simple, so straightforward, and this is what makes it so off-putting. Who is this man? How does he know her dreams? The brief exposure to the leading lady, Jane Hawk, is also compelling. Will probably go check out the first now!
