Dean Koontz is an amazing suspense writer and he does not disappoint with The Whispering Room. Jane Hawk is the only one to realize that a series of seemingly unrelated but bizarre events are, in fact, related. People with no motivation or history of violence are suddenly committing heinous crimes, people with no history of mental illness are committing suicide, and many others. The only common thread is that there was no history or clue that these events would happen. As the author has done countless times in the past, he has woven another mystery that is both completely unbelievable and scarily plausible to entertain his readers.
