Love the first installment in this series and have been looking forward to the second book. The first chapters shared here did not disappoint. As with his other books, Dean Koontz has done a wonderful job jumping straight into action. Occasional backstory is fed in through out the first chapters as a refresher or for those who did not read the previous book. Can't wait to know if the journalist takes Jane up on her offer!
