I have been reading Dean Koontz books for years now and my First Impression of this one is it will be a good one! The main character Jane Hawk is a rogue FBI agent who is looking to clear her military husband's name. It is believed he committed suicide but Jane knows better. She claims she has proof that a company and even parts of our government are behind a nanomachine central mechanism and self assembling brain implants that are eliminating parts of civilization by causing them to commit suicide.
This seems far-fetched to me but I would probably be scared to death if I knew everything that technology mixed with evil-doers were capable of. Regardless, this excerpt has made me curious and wanting to read more. I can't wait to get a copy of this!!
