I used to read Dean Koontz all the time, and then something happened. I felt myself drifting away from his work. I always pick up his books and read the synopsis and then say nah, no thanks. This is a reminder, the first look was filled with bad dialogue (did she really say don't dawdle to her dog). The dream sequence is a dead give away that something similar will happen towards the climax. Also, did I need to know who post what on facebook of my characters? It comes across as very first novel YA. The cover is also a total bore.
