The Silent Corner was the first book by Dean Koontz that I had the privilege of reading. I enjoyed it much more than I expected and I've been waiting for The Whispering Room to get here. Reading this excerpt, it captured me much like before. I was immediately intrigued. As far as the cover goes, I like the color and how it matches the first book in tone. I wish either both cover had faces, or both covers didn't. While I like the color scheme, I want the graphics to match as well.
