The Whispering Room is very good at slowly building up suspense, giving you a taste to pique your interest before alternating to another character. Cora's sections were almost chilling, while we learn more little by little about Jane's serious predicament. We learn a lot about the conspiracy quickly, so I have no idea where this book is going. I am definitely intrigued!
