This was like an interesting blend of Matched meets The Handmaid's Tale. I can already see a lot of what's coming, and I'm excited to watch it unfold. Mostly, I'm excited to see Daniel get taken down, because man, even the teeny tiny little bit of him I got from this excerpt made me want him gone. I think the best part of this is that we also get to see things from Caleb's point of view. We know that these feelings aren't just in Miriam's head and there was a true relationship building that was destroyed by this ceremony. So many questions, so many possible outcomes, I'm so ready to find out where the rest of this story goes!
