I loved The Handmaid's Tale and this book sounds very much like that story. It sound like Miriam's whole world is based on the old teachings and what was done in the past will always be done. It seems as if no one has questioned their way of life. However, with her marriage to the wrong person Miriam's yes are open and she begins to question her whole existence. We she break out of her "eden" and experience the real world. Would love to find out
