The story caught my interest at first, but somewhere in those first 65 pages, I lost interest. I felt sorry for Caleb and Miriam that everything was out of their control and Aaron called out her name to be his wife. I’m sure their will be some actions taken by Caleb and Miriam to change their circumstances and get together. However, the plot is just moving too slowly for me to want to invest my time in the story.
