This story has already made me cringe quite a bit with the rampant sexism, which I'm assuming is the reaction the author wants the reader to have. Daniel makes my skin crawl and I am interested to see how this man came to have so much power and influence over this group. I was pretty unimpressed with Miriam going off on Aaron. Why was it so wrong of him to want to chose her? How was he supposed to know that she wanted to be with Caleb? Seems like Aaron got a pretty raw deal hear himself.
